We just wanted to take this special day in our nation's history to express our gratitude to be citizens of the United States of America. We are loving it here in Brazil and the Brazilian people are amazing but we love our native country. Even with all the problems and challenges it is facing we feel very fortunate to be Americans. And we are very lucky that the Brazilians treat us, as Americans, with such grace and kindness. We are grateful for our family and want them to know that we think fondly each day of the US and Old Glory and hope they are flying the red, white and blue today!
