Gloria and Antonio Domingues are in our Tatui Branch. They have a daughter Jo and her husband, Ricardo who live in Sao Paulo, just a block from the Sao Paulo Temple. They have been kind enough to have Elder Barrus and I stay with them several times. They invited us to spend Easter weekend with him. Fortunately, Amanda and Derik were arriving that same weekend so they were able to meet and be showered with kindness from Jo and Ricardo. Top picture is Amanda, Antonio's daughter-in-law and Antonio harmonizing a hymn together. Antonio and his daughter sang it in Portuguese while Amanda sang it in English. It was beautiful! Middle picture is me with Jo and Ricardo's dog, Princesse. It is a beautiful, sweet dog. It is an Italian breed, they were bred to help in the war. Last picture is Elder Barrus standing in front of their front door. Their home was once the place where General Authorities of the Church would stay when coming to Sao Paulo. Elder James E. Faust stayed here often. Then it was a seminary building for some time. Jo and Ricardo bought it and have turned it into a lovely home.
